    I enjoyed yours presentation and would like to know if BMO, Vanguard and others have tax efficient Index ETFs such as HXT, HXS from Horizon ETF Management (Canada).

    1. Soli, All index tracking ETFs are relatively tax efficient as they have little trading and therefore little in the way of capital gains. There would only be dividends that are taxable. However, I believe that Horizons are the main company to provide ETFs that avoid annual taxes through their various strategies. HXT has a MER of .05 compared to XIU which tracks the same 60 largest Canadian stocks and which has a MER of .17 so it seems like a very well priced ETF for those who do not want annual income but instead want capital gain only.
